Subly is an AI-powered accessibility platform that helps teams check, fix, and manage the accessibility of their video and audio content — automatically.
We’re first to market with a real-time Accessibility Checker: a dashboard that identifies compliance issues and makes it simple to fix them using AI-generated subtitles, captions, and transcripts. It’s a central hub for accessibility across media, built for scale, and designed to evolve with global standards.
We’ve got strong product demand and early revenue. Now we’re focused on testing markets, refining positioning, and building a repeatable enterprise sales motion. That’s where you come in.
The Role
We’re looking for a Founding Commercial Lead to build and execute our outbound sales motion. This is a hands-on, high-impact role — perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves to learn from real conversations, and wants to help shape the path to product-market fit.
This isn’t a role where leads are handed to you. You’ll be expected to:
- Source and qualify your own enterprise prospects
- Test verticals and messaging
- Build a repeatable top-of-funnel process
- Help us discover where Subly delivers the most value
You’ll work directly with the founders and have real influence on our commercial strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and build your own list of high-potential enterprise prospects
- Run outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calls) using an account-based approach
- Lead conversations from first contact through to close
- Collaborate with the founders to refine positioning and GTM
- Share learnings that shape our sales process and product direction
- Bring energy, urgency, and a learning mindset to everything you do
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in enterprise B2B sales — ideally in early-stage or zero-to-one environments
- You’ve built pipeline from scratch and closed deals without a marketing engine behind you
- You’re confident in navigating ambiguity and iterating fast based on buyer feedback
- Strong communicator with commercial intuition and curiosity
- Self-starter who wants autonomy, responsibility, and room to build
- Comfortable with a freelance or flexible setup initially (2 days/week)
Compensation & Structure
Commitment: 2 days/week to start
Structure: Freelance / Contractor
Compensation:
- Monthly retainer (based on experience and scope)
- Bonus for qualified opportunities and closed deals
- Future equity available for the right person
How We Work
Subly is a 100% remote company. We currently work from the Netherlands, UK, and Spain. This role is expected to operate primarily on CEST hours, with flexibility around time blocks.
